Tree Fiddy

I want to talk about appreciation.

I appreciate nice trees.

I’m talking about the good kind, the kind of tree that not only smells good but also feels good.

These types of trees are not specific to any one kind of tree group, but rather they vary on a tree to tree basis.

Often times I see people take trees for granted, completely ignoring the fact that they are incredibly important.

Trees are the reason we are able to breathe, they are the reason we live. Our planet is losing more and more trees everyday and we are to blame.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not some tree sucking hippy, in fact, I burn trees often. But that still doesn’t make the situation any less important. I wouldn’t even be typing about this if it weren’t for all the information I received from some Arlington tree service company.

I ran into the owner of this company while I was out and about in my city. I saw his service truck and t-shirt and figured I’d ask a few questions. I asked questions about anything and everything I had concerns with. I walked away knowing more about trees than I do any other plant. And that’s saying something.

Regardless, the topic at hand is still about appreciation. If we don’t start appreciating what we’ve got, we could lose it all.

Our planet is being deforested and it honestly pains me to know that the good majority of Americans don’t give two shits.

Sorry for the language but I just get really heated about all of this.

I figured I would give some useful tips on how we can all make a difference:

  1. Don’t ever break a tree’s branch for no reason. Imagine I broke one of your fingers for no reason, it’s the same thing to a tree.
  2. Trees and Plants certainly feel pain, whether you realize it or not. Think of that next time you want to chop one down.
  3. Trees provide us with shade and cover, in those hot summer days they are the ones that are there for you.
  4. If you see anyone abusing a tree or plant of any kind, do ANYTHING you can to stop them. We need to treat our planet better.
  5. Pick up trash, I know no one wants to pick up someone else’s trash but it’s the right thing to do and probably the biggest way we can all contribute to cleaning our planet up.

That’s all I have for today, please try to remember this tips next time you’re outside.

Good News Everyone

I have actually begun to reconnect. Yes, I am so happy.

If you’ve been following with me, you’ll know that I’ve been disconnected from the world.

And now that I’ve seem to have found some sense of direction, you will be able to follow an entirely new journey of mine.

While the website it self will remain relatively unchanged, the content it offers will be increased, at least by my standards.

I’ve been making a lot of progress and I’m ready to share.

Today I want to speak about an idea that I think about quite often.

Is it possible that everything, and by everything I mean the start of the universe – the big bang

was this all created by mere chance, that small, minuscule chance that life was created long ago?

Possibly I guess, I mean look how far we’ve come already.

I’d like to think that this was all created by one superior being but I tend to learn more towards facts.

I know that things are constantly changing, the world, the universe.

And everything there within.

We humans are no different, and in the event that we got extremely lucky to ever have been created in the first place. It’s actually pretty hard to fathom the idea of each and every single of us is completely unique.

I am talking more about people’s minds, but maybe we aren’t as different as we all think.

Either way, life will always be something to ponder. It’s simply fascinating in every way, most likely because the answer will always be unknown.

And then you come across the question of well if we were this lucky, who says it couldn’t have happened elsewhere, other galaxies and universes.

It’s quite hard to fathom the amount of possibilities out there. I for one do not like to give it too much thought, I am more interested in living my life rather than thinking about it.

I think it’s important to appreciate the thought of where we could possibly have come from and what else exists. But just as important it is to focus on surviving.

We as humans are no different than animals. We live every day subconsciously focused on surviving.

Just like my dad used to say: “One Monkey Won’t Stop The Show”

Now, here is where things get good.

Think about this, for every person you interact with in the world, you’ve made an impact on the world and how things happen. Without you, the world would be completely different.

In the moment none of this really matters but the consistent actions over time will make a massive difference. Don’t ever forget how important your specific life is.

People often get so caught up in just living the day to day, they forget to think of things in this way. I myself am guilty of this too.

I just really enjoy taking the time to stop and think about things sometime. If you look at my earlier blog posts, you’ll notice there’s quite a drastic change in only one month or so.

Now, here is where things get even better.

I also like to post images that make people use their brains, can you tell me what you see right about this?

Something doesn't look right

I want to blog about interests we have and how they come about and where they go. What do I even mean?

Essentially, everyone is brought into this world with a clean slate of likes and interests. It’s not until people become functional enough to make their own decisions that interests start to form.

Interests typically come about when an individual experiences something new and makes a decision to repeat that action. If you are truly interested in something, your future decisions will be impacted by this new found interest.

While we as humans are invited to be interested in as many things as we’d like, I think we are only capable of handling so many. When a new interest is discovered, an old one is forgotten, lost.

Lemme explain.

Interests can come in all shapes and sizes, triggered by reminders. Bigger interests, ones that attract more attention and time are not easily forgotten. The more effort put into an interest, the harder it will be to let that one fade.

Often times, people have a hard time changing interests when it comes to relationships or feelings with other human beings. This is because of the time invested in the other individual, it’s an interest that required a lot of attention, it cannot be easily forgotten.

Other interests may include something like golfing. Golfing is a huge interest for a lot of people, let’s say you like to golf.

Golfing is something you do every weekend with the guys and sometimes you make a little money doing it too. It’s fair to say you invest a decent amount of time in this interest.

Now let’s say that you had a shoulder injury playing with your kid and doc says no more golf for as long as you live, extreme I know…

This is an interest you’ve invested a lot of time and attention to, and now you are faced with a decision to either focus your limited amount of interest on other aspects of golf, or move it elsewhere.

If you are a person with a lot of interest like myself, I would suggest finding ways to combine them together, that way you can spend more time on things you like.

A simple formula to remember : Interest + Time = INTEREST

If you invest time into your interests they will grow and become stronger.

But the more time you have invested in an interest, the more time it will require from you.

Everyone pays interest. Interesting isn’t it?

Invest your time wisely my friends, until next time.

Here is a picture of me investing my time into something I like: Photography, Motorcycles, and Trains. I can’t tell you how these interests formed, but I do invest quite a bit of time into them.

I just love watching the cars getting towed one by one, very soothing and relaxing.

Where were you on May 16, 2016 at 8:14 pm? I know what I was doing

Welcome to my brand new blog, where I will relieve some personal thoughts and share experiences in my life. I will try to be as active as possible but with my current work ethic, it might not happen.

I may add some pictures every now and then but for the most part, this blog will be dedicated to my thoughts, thoughts sometimes described as disconnected from the world.

I’d like to think that everyone’s thoughts vary but can be on the same level of ‘disconnectedness’ I don’t really think I am that unique, or am I?
